I grew up with a family that loves to travel and explore. I got the bug early on.
However, only a couple years ago, when I was traveling all over Italy, it struck me. Traveling is pretty selfish. There’s not much getting around it. It might seem out of place to read this on a travel website, but for me, there is so much more depth to travel beyond making memories for me and my family.
There are 7.6 Billion people in the world. More than half of those people live in poverty. We at Formative Adventures are committed to do our part in helping spread the word about great local organizations and giving back by donating our time and resources towards their cause.
After all, we dream for all people to live more enriched lives.
Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
— Isaiah 1:17
For each of our trips, we aspire to partner with an organization or group of people that we can visit and help make an impact. Whether that’s visiting a local orphanage in India, interviewing the caretaker, and promoting their cause, or maybe it’s working with a local charity in Mexico, making sandwiches and distributing them to underprivileged youth during the day.
Whatever the cause, I hope you will partner with us socially by raising awareness and consider contributing financially.
Organizations we’re proud to have visited and supported
